ATTENTION: This event has been updated to accommodate all riders. Due to the popularity of the July 27-30th camp we’ve opened up more days to accommodate more riders. For the girls who had expected this to be an all girls event, we are still doing that.
We will have dedicated female coaches at every session for any of our female riders who prefer to ride and learn in a smaller, female-led group. That option is always available! We always have multiple groups each year for all rider skill levels and skill focuses. Whether your rider wants to roll with one of these group options or stick with the female-led crew, we've got you covered.
Get ready for an epic 4-day adventure at TrailWorks Mountain Bike Camp in Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland! For the girls group, this is a girls-focused mountain biking camp for any rider who feels comfortable in this environment. We respect each riders identity and we do not expect riders to explain or justify their identity to participate.
For the boys as well as mixed group we’ll have the same amazing learning environment!
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, we'll meet you at your personal skill level to help you become a safer, more confident rider. From building key techniques to boosting your on trail riding abilities, everything you learn at camp will set you up for endless progress on the bike. Don't miss out—join us for a ton of fun, challenge yourself in a safe supportive learning environment, and make huge skills growth throughout camp!
Last years camp was so much fun! We had a great group of riders and some equally rad coaches making this event possible. Working safe jump technique over at the pump track was a highlight for many. We had fun games, rides, overall riding skills technique as well as some down time to socialize and connect with new and old friends! We can’t wait to see you out there again!
We’ll meet each day from 9:30am to 3:30pm.
A bit more about this camp.
50% of the proceeds from this camp will be going to a nonprofit organization, Chains4Change. Chains4Change is a nonprofit created and run by one of the NorCal leagues amazing alumni Ginger Howard. Ginger is not only a fantastic rider, kind human and ambassador for female cycling, (working with NorCal GRiT riders) but an amazing woman of action. Ginger’s Nonprofit supports students in rural Guatemala by providing bikes; an important mode of transportation to cover the long distances these students face traveling to and from school each day. Her vision; access to education for all is supported and applauded. TrailWorks is proud to partner with Ginger and Chains4Change for this fun event!
Ginger will also be one of the many amazing female coaches we have at this event!
